Do you not understand what is going on with our economy and the thousands of jobs that have been lost due to downsizing?  I work at home so I know that my job is secure as long as the Internet exists, but I have my own struggles and emergency need for help for my 3 children for Christmas.  And my need for help is not because I don't want to work.  I missed work because I am fighting cancer so I think that it would be wise not to judge.

Hello Storm747. I wanted to send you a message about the work at home sites that you are seeking. In your specific experience and preference try www.odesk.com which has no start up fees for job seekers (there are TONS of listings). You should also try www.demandstudios.com which is limited to article writing, but as long as you have a sample and have great researching and grammar you should get accepted. In comparison to oDesk, Demand Studios pays $15 per 500 word article paid twice a week, while the highest I found on oDesk was $5 for 500 word keyword articles. Santa Paws is not working for 2009 - just to let everyone know....another dead end for us with no hope in sight

I am in desperate need of Christmas presents presents for our three children: boy age 13, girl age 9, and boy age 5.  Due to my health problems, I have not been able to work much.  I am a work-at-home mom, but all of the medications that I am on tend to have the "loopy" effect.  I cannot think straight half the time.  My husband works full-time, and until recently we have not had financial issues.  My extra income for Nov and Dec was supposed to go towards Christmas this year, but since I have missed so much, wwe are barely paying the utilities and the house payment.

I want people to know that we are not asking for money.  In fact, my children would be happy with used books, toys, and clothing that you are getting rid of to make way for the new stuff.  Please contact us if you can help.  It is greatly appreciated.  God Bless.
